Ssempiira Foundation was established on 25^th April 2006 in Uganda as The Scholarship Foundation for Africa by Francis Xavier Ssempiira. In August 2018, after 12 years of dedicated service, the organization rebranded to Ssempiira Foundation. In the same period it absorbed all other smaller organizations under the same founder, namely: National School Staff Association (2004), Sauti Ya Vijana – Voice of the Youths (2012) and Mapera Tours Uganda (2013).
