The Ssempiira Foundation is proud to organise and support annual competitions in Art, Music and Film and provide awards and rewards as a way of fostering growth of the arts in Africa and among immigrants of African descent.

These annual festivities and competitions take place in Kampala, Toronto and many other world capitals as we may choose fit from time to time.

We strongly believe that Music, Art, Film and the Arts in general are some of the best ways for humans to express themselves; their pain, resilience, victory, and tell their story. By putting up awards and rewards, we stimulate the creative genius of participants while encouraging the public to participate and by doing so, they partake of the experience while raising money for worthy causes.
